Picture Book Review: How Kate Warne Saved President Lincoln

Kate Warne fought to become a female detective - insisting that she could gather information that no one else could and in plain sight. She was right and it led her to help uncover a plot against the newly elected President Lincoln.
I love that Kate fought for what she wanted and became a detective. I like that she gathered information using her skills and disguises. A great nonfiction picture book for young elementary school readers and perfect for talking about women and achievements.

Highly recommended for both public and school libraries.
